Began as an eye study, then rapidly escalated in an attempt to impress my new classmates. This is easily one of my favorite drawings.
I was going to make the woman white, but she turned out black early on. It's not often that I draw people who aren't white. It's not a preference, it just doesn't come up often.

She looks really good. Is that charcoal? Wow, I have a hard time drawing anything other than white people. (Since that's kind of what I grew up with. It's hard to say that without sounding racist. xD)
